Open Thread: Championship Weekend Is Upon Us
The NFL's version of the Final Four is upon us. There's two really good matchups to talk about--the San Francisco 49ers battle the New York Giants and the Baltimore Ravens face-off against the New England Patriots. Will we see the last game in Ray Lewis' and/or Ed Reed's career?
There's also the impending legal issues over Jerome Simpson's head. Talk about it and take us into the weekend.

Tressel,would be great "cant wait"
Plus thats just one more bullet dodged with Zimmer
"A team is more than a group of individuals, its a group of individuals that come together to make a team"
the last bullet
i think for this year…
Watching Stanford Jennings kick return in the Super Bowl was the out of body experience of my sports life.
Well its Tampa.........j/k

This is the best NFL weekend
But I must say I miss watching the Bengals something terrible. Hope next year we’re in it on championship weekend. Its gotten so bad I had to break out the madden.

I know exactly how you feel
I’ve been playing Madden religiously lately. I have my Kentucky Wildcats in college bball, but football is just a whole other beast with me. I breathe the shit. When the Bengals season is over, it’s like Armageddon in my life haha jk. It is tough though.

Did you watch the UK/bama game?
Cats win but it was a shitty game. At the 3 minute mark all they did was foul. I about fell asleep lol. Go Cats! #BBN

Pats and SF
I dont think there is any way that the Ravens even stand a small chance in NE
SF is calling for rain all weekend,if its as sloppy as i hope it is,i’m taking SF
If its dry and sunny like last week i’ll take the Giants

I don't have a rooting interest
but I think it will be NE vs. NY rematch… I still don’t know who I want to lose more, NE or Baltimore, but at least one will, and the other in the Super Bowl.

it sucks being a bengals fan.
Knowing that every year we have to watch other teams go deep in the playoffs while the bengals sit home. If this team doesnt make it past the first round of the playoffs i might stop being a fan. Even the texans won a playoff game with a rookie 5th roound qb.
