New Draft/Free Agency scenario in light of our needs for RB/WR.......

First I'll say this post comes with a disclosure, the below scenario is predicated on us signing a free agent to fill the gap we currently have at LG (Grubbs, Rinehart, Scott, Garza). I do not think we'll sign Nicks for the asking price he'll command, but another cheaper alternative who could start right away for us would be needed. Also this is assuming that both Richardson and DeCastro are gone at this point, if either were still there they of course would be our choices. But here is the draft scenario:

Pick #17 - Michael Floyd, WR. Instead of risking a signing via free agency, we get another great weapon to pair with AJ Green. Floyd has the size, strength and speed to be a great #1/#2 receiver in the NFL. Just think about pairing these two up together and how much flexibility it would provide our passing attack.

Pick #21 - Lamar Miller, RB. Let's get a guy who can play at least 3 downs, then utilize Scott/Leonard as needed. He's got size/speed (215lbs., 4.3-4.4 speed) and can catch out of the backfield. Would bring a new element to the WC offense and provide the missing piece to go along with Dalton, Green and Gresham.

Round 2, pick #53 - we take the next best CB available......Gilmore, Hosley, Jenkins, Johnson, etc.

Round 3, pick #84 - Antonio Allen, S. We add some more talent and depth to our S position. We could also go with another CB (whichever from the above list still on the board), O Lineman (Datko out of FSU might still be there, once considered a first rounder, but dropped due to injuries his senior year) or DT (Wolfe).

Like I said above, this scenario would only happen if we sign a Guard in free agency and Richardson/DeCastro are already gone. Also it's assuming both Floyd and Miller are still there (Miller most likely will be, Floyd has been mocked all over in the first round, but mostly still around between picks #15-18). But this would really help us take care of a few of our needs, just by addressing the Guard position via free agency. I am one for emphasizing the need for a strong interior line, that's why I would prefer to address during free agency so we sign someone who is proven and can play right away. We can still draft a T/G later on as well to pair with Boling and Collins (who hopefully we re-sign) to fill out our line.

Tell me what you think Cincy Jungle, slightly different scenario than what I've seen on here lately that I was thinking about.............Who Dey?!!
