Lets talk OL
The first thing the Bengals need to do is resign Collins. Resign him and make him the starting RT. So that means move Smith to RG. Think Smith would be a better G then T. Smith has show alot this year. Just think if they move him to RG with his run blocking he would be a beast and wouldnt have to move as much to pass block. Now LG we need to find in FA (Mathis). So my starting lineup would be WHIT, FA, COOK, SMITH and COLLINS. My backups would be Boling, Williams and would draft another OG an OT but wouldnt need to so early in the draft. If Whit or Collins went down they could move Smith back to RT and Collins to LT if needed.

Most people here, I believe, are fans of this
however we don’t believe it will happen.

Briesel from Houston
Kinda of like a Bobbie Williams 6-7 years ago. UFA Guard
He is FA, about 30, and Houston probably can’t sign him due to cap problems
Their will be some cap casualties as well – need at least one starter in FA, if Castro falls take him, if not maybe Boling with Bobbie as backup as
No arguments here, Andre would be a much better G than T at this level.

Williams wont be a backup i think they will let him go
And pick someone up in the draft or FA. Mathis is def not happening. I do like the which of smith
Williams is (was) a VERY good run blocker
Unless they sign 2 big name FA guards, or Williams doesn’t fully recover from the injury, I see him coming back next year.
Of course, that’s assuming they don’t do the obvious and move Tubby to guard. Which, be honest, we all know they’re not going to do. Collins will be in the pro bowl next year for someone else, or the year after at the latest.
That's what I'm afraid of with Collins.......Mathis, part II.

Would say that bout the OLD BENGALS
I believe the Bengals see the light now. I dnt think they pass on upgrading the OL. Still think Smith would be a hell of a RG. Marvin had him working at it in 2010. I believe they keep Collins and move Smith inside.
I hope so
but people don’t think it will happen… Hobson, Lapham, etc are some besides us on here that really want it to happen but don’t think it will

Couldn't agree more, but I have to say I honestly don't see it either.
It’s funny, we like versatile O lineman, but don’t seem to like moving them where they are best suited (Smith/Collins case in point).

Okay but move Andre to the LG position as it is his more natural side
Then get Kelechi Osemele, a T at Iowa ST, in the 3rd to play RG.
