Bengals draft prediction contest
With it being that time of year for all of the die hard football fans out there the draft and who will go where is on the brain. I've seen probably a thousand different ways of how people here at CJ think it will play out for the Bengals on draft day so lets put our draft knowledge or luck to the test in a 3 part player pick'em.
Part 1. put down the first 3 players you think the Bengals will take in the order you think they'll take them. Now this being Febuary and the farthest of the 3 parts away from the draft you will be awarded more points than the next part of this contest. example: pick 1 is 30 pts. pick 2 is 40 pts. pick 3 is 50 pts. Bonus Question worth 25 pts Who will be the Super Bowl MVP?
Part 2. Will be the same as the first but I'll post it around the 1st of March so the combine will be over and we'll have a better idea of what those picks might be. Now since we're closer to draft day the points for the picks will decrease. example: pick 1 is 20 pts. pick 2 is 30 pts. pick 3 is 40 pts. Bonus Question 25 pts.
Part 3. Same as the first two but I'll post it around the 1st of April so free agency my have really given you a good idea as to who the Bengals will take. Being weeks away from the draft points will be pick 1 is 10 pts. pick 2 is 20 pts. pick 3 is 30 pts. I have a special bonus question for this post and it may be worth more than the previous bonus questions. Good luck!
my picks for an example
1. Jenkins CB
2. Glenn T/G
3. Martin RB
BQ. Tom Brady

"the bengals are not a west of the 104 longitude team."
I’ll pass on playing the rest of the game, but I will do the bonus question. For the patriots to have a shot, they have to sack Eli about 30 times. So I’m going with Vince Wilfork.
For the Patriots to WIN
they will need to start with an onside kick and recover the ball, and score on every possession possible to out duel Eli Manning
1. Dre Kirkpatrick
2. Peter Konz
3. Doug Martin
mvp: Victor Cruz

Nothing wrong with going for the dream draft.......
strange things have happened over the last year (made the playoffs, top draft picks panned out even better than expected, fleeced the Raiders for Palmer)……now might be the time to bet on the long odds!

1) DeCastro……B/c Marvin is in control and there is a cap on rookie salaries now. So paying for a Guard in the 1st, is in MB’s price range now. MB always preferred Guards after the 1st round. Not this time…
2) Gilmore…. Marvin likes his CB’s to be tall 6’1" 198 lbs and Zimmer gets his J Joe replacement.
3) Pead….. Shocker!!! Shifty, speedy, and great hands like Ray Rice just not as heavy (remember Kenny Irons). Which Marvin likes along with Jay Gruden, his RB toy he’s been looking for…. This isn’t a homerism pick either, trust me. He will be there in the 2nd for them. The Power Back will be dealt with in FA.
MVP Cruz

Dre Kirkpatrick-CB
Brandon Thompson-DT
1st RD-Dre Kirkpatrick-CB
1st RD-Mark Barron-SS
2nd RD-Brandon Thompson-DT
3rd RD-Amini Silatolu-OG
4th RD-Marvin Jones-WR

Super Bowl is over and I would have picked Jarvis- Green to have a breakouts and win MVP.
