Open Thread: Giants Or Patriots?
We're in full Super Bowl mode and Indianapolis is less than a week away from hosting the biggest game of the year. So, who's going to win and what's going to be the score. Also, you might as well name who the MVP will be.
Go.

Patriots
I want us to match the Pats in that we go get another TE to pair up with Gresham and dominate the middle of the field for 17 weeks.

I got Pats by 10
I agree with ESPN..Brady rarely has two bad games in a row and he is out for vengeance for the last SB……

Giants...
The Giants front four will make Brady’s life miserable….
Giants....28-24....Hakeem Nicks
It’s funny…you ask for scores, and people give you things like “by 3” or “by 10”.
I didn’t realize that was a “score”
so demanding arent you
Pats 27 – 17

If it is true, rough way to have his career come to an end...
Peyton Manning’s football career is likely over, two sources close to the Indianapolis Colts quarterback with knowledge of his recovery from neck surgery told Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports.
Although the vertebrae in Manning’s neck have healed as expected, which allowed him to start throwing again back in December, the same can’t be said for the nerves in his arm, according to the sources. They say the velocity on his passes has not improved and possibly never will.
All of which, the sources say, indicates the four-time MVP will probably never play again.
Two league-affiliated doctors with experience in spinal fusion surgery told Cole that it would be too risky for Manning to play again and that it could take as long as a year for Manning to know whether a return is possible.
Then again, it was a rough way for
David Pollock’s career to come to a screeching end as well…
Was at the game when Pollack got hurt.
What an awful feeling.
Another one of those
What could have been, if not for injury-shortened career…
i'm not sure why Dallas & Saint Diego helmets are in the photo next to NE & NYG
seems the Ravens & 49ers should have the helmets closest to NE and NYG.
I was thinking the same thing
Dallas sort of makes sense because they’re at least in the same division as the Giants, but the Chargers helmet is a total head-scratcher.

Pats
I want Ochocinco to finally get a ring.
Paul Brown Stadium, where everyone's hopes go to die.
+1
I would love this too…I think Chad is a good guy…He was going to play here in Cincy if we didn’t trade him…good hearted guy…never in any trouble and his father just passed

"He was going to play here in Cincy if we didn’t trade him"
If that was the case, would we have gotten AJ?
Anyway, if Chad gets a ring, good for him, but tough for Corey who did not get one and how many years did he carry this team back in the dark days….
whoa whoa whoa
I didnt say anything about not getting AJ..and I wanted to get rid of Chad…I just was talking about his character as a good hearted guy….Oh we got AJ…he is ten time what Chad could ever be…period

True, you did not say anything about not getting AJ,
but would we have gotten AJ if Chad was still here?
That I don't know (hit the enter button too soon)
and I am not hounding you…you don’t have to answer… :)
I know what you mean
Its all good…I agree though…would our priorities in the draft still be the same if we were going to keep Ocho? Its a thought…Having AJ Green is like have a child..once you have him, you cant image what life was like without him…WHODEY

Why? He has not done anything for them all year.
At least Corey Dillon did something after he was acquired by the Pats.
Agree.
I don’t dislike Chad, but what has he done to deserve a ring with the Pats? If he gets one, I will be happy for him though, no ill will towards him.
He was stuck on the bengals for several yrs
He helped pull this Franchise out of the god damn basement that is what he has done. He became the face of a pathetic franchise and helped restore it to its former glory. How quickly you a-holes forget what he has done for the Bengals franchise.
thas what I am sayin
Chad and Carson brought back excitement to the city that was long forgotten…At the same time…Chad has done nothing for the Pats and oh yeah…we drafted a young kid out of Georgia who can catch a little……….not Geno..before anyone does it…lol

I will never forget what he did for this team and this city.
Like I said, I have no ill will. But for them, he has been nowhere near the receiver he was here. If he gets one, great, good for him. I never said a bad word about the man. So enough with the name calling.
PATRIOTS WIN BIG as OCHOCINCO SNARES 2 TD'S
Chad’s from my High School (Miami Beach Senior High)
and he was and continues to be a very fun loving and playful character.
To know (really know) Chad, is to love him. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.
I feel like in N.E. he’s been stripped of his "Mojo" (personality).
It’s sad to see that he’s on the same team with arguably the best QB to ever
play the game and now about to play the Biggest game of his career (Superbowl)
and as "bengalsfan024" states………He’s been a complete Non-Factor
(15 catches for 275 yds).
I bet he feels worse than anyone in the world right now, knowing that he wasn’t a factor in helping the Pat’s get there.
and knowing him like I do……………….Believe me, He’s embarrassed to no end that he didn’t contribute.
I hope "Belichick" makes Chad his secret weapon in the Superbowl
I’d love to see Chad catch 8 passes with 2 going for Touchdowns.
The Guy’s a great guy and we should all be rooting for him to not only get in the game
but to be a difference maker once he’s in.
He really does deserve it (body of work).
Isn’t it Ironic……….. (Alanis Morrisette).

I am kind of with you on the mojo
i think the “flash and the show” is what gave Chad strength, and you spoke to my point, he is just a fun guy who is having fun with the media…

Thanks "Tical"
I don’t know why ANY Bengal fan, wouldn’t want the best for Chad.

3 or 4 plays
IDK anything could happen that’s why I love this game. Since Gronk is iffy he could get more PT but I don’t think the Pats move away from what has gotten them this far and Chad isn’t it. I loved Chad when he was here but I have a theory of one of just many reasons they got rid of him. A new offense and him not being smart enough to learn it. I think the Bengals new he would have a hard time picking up something new and got rid of him. He was running wrong routs last year after being in the offense how long? I love what he did for the team and city but I’m not crying cause he’s gone either.
