Around SBN: How NBA Draft Lottery Results Affect Prospects' High Hopes

A Look at the Future: Which Players In the BCS Championship Game to Keep an Eye On

Now that the Bengals' season is over, it's okay to start talking about the draft. Tonight, the two best teams in college football, the LSU Tigers and the Alabama Crimson Tide, go head-to-head in the Allstate BCS National Championship and with two first-round picks in the upcoming draft, it's a safe bet that at least one of the players we watch tonight could end up in stripes in 2012.

Here's a few players in the positions that the Bengals may look to upgrade or find depth in during the upcoming draft to keep an eye on tonight.

Star-divide

  • Trent Richardson - Alabama running back
  • Mark Barron - Alabama safety
  • Robert Lester - Alabama safety
  • Morris Claiborne - LSU cornerback
  • Dre Kirkpatrick - Alabama cornerback
  • De'Quan Menzie - Alabama cornerback
  • Courtney Upshaw - Alabama outside linebacker
  • Dont'a Hightower - Alabama inside linebacker
  • Ryan Baker - LSU inside linebacker
  • Michael Brockers - LSU defensive tackle
  • T-bob Hebert - LSU guard
  • Rueben Randle - LSU wide receiver

Do you think kirkpatricks stock will drop

enough for us to get him with our 17th pick if he has an off game?

Haha

Who would you want in that situation?

Dalton to Green = Nash to anybody in a Suns Jersey

Honestly, I asked the excact same question last week in another post

I keep flip flopping. If Leon’s healthy and we are able to resign pacman then I’d go with Richardson but if not, I’d have to go with Kirkpatric and pray Richardson would be there @ 21

Plus

I want to assure that Benson never gets another carry as a Bengal. That would only further propel him away

I put up a huge bet

That the SEC would win the championship tonight.

You think if Richardson has a not so stellar game

He could drop to us at 17? I know people are clamoring for a CB at the pick, but is it a possibility? Or will draft scouts not look too much into this one game?

Somebody's name is "T-Bob"?

That’s epic.
