There seems to be what could be considered confusion that's coming from Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis, who said that cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick would be able to suit up for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns, even saying "He could play Sunday."
Lewis (sorta) clarified.
"His time table is whenever we decide he’s one of our best opportunities," said Lewis. "He’s got to get through that and he’s got to get the ins and outs of everything we’re doing as well. You can’t make the game-time adjustments and the things that occur until you’re in a game situation."
Last month Lewis told reporters that a "reasonable timetable" for his NFL debut wouldn't be until, at least, after the Oct. 28 bye week.

There we go.
Bengals defensive end Dontay Moch rested on Thursday with an undescribed illness, the lone player that sat during the entire session. On Friday he returned to practice working with the defensive lineman, marking this occasion especially great as every Cincinnati Bengals player suited up for Friday's practice.
Save for Kirkpatrick, it leaves a good possibility that every Bengals player will be available this weekend against the Cleveland Browns.

The participation report for the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns practices

According to the Cleveland media, Browns linebacker D'Qwell Jackson returned to practice on Thursday. The Browns linebacker sat during Wednesday's practice after suffering a head injury against the New York Giants on Sunday. Mary Kay Cabot with the Plain Dealer writes:
If Jackson can't play or if he's limited, rookie James-Michael Johnson is ready to step in. Johnson returned from his oblique injury last week, but played only on special teams. "He's worked mostly outside but he can play inside,'' Jauron said.

It's a game. Pick one cornerback to rest for today's practice, replacing the cornerback that sat during the previous session. On Wednesday it was Terence Newman, replacing Jason Allen who returned to practice for the first time in weeks.
On Thursday it's Adam Jones sitting while Newman returned to practice doing position drills. In a bit of shocking news, Jason Allen also practiced on Wednesday.
Linebacker/Defensive End Dontay Moch was also out but for unknown reasons.

After Cleveland Browns linebacker D'Qwell Jackson suffered a concussion in the second quarter against the New York Giants last Sunday, he left the game and didn't return. Jackson didn't practice on Wednesday and it's uncertain if he'll be able to play. If not undrafted rookie L.J. Fort figures to start.
During a conference call with the Cleveland media, Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton said of Jackson:
"He’s the leader of that defense," Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton said of Jackson today during a conference call. "He’s always making plays. He’s a big part of that defense."
Jackson posted three quarterback sacks, an interception and five tackles earlier this year when the Browns played the Bengals in Cleveland.
Wide receivers Mohamed Massaquoi (hamstring), Travis Benjamin (hamstring) and Jordan Norwood (foot) were out, along with defensive tackle Ahtyba Rubin (leg), cornerback Dimitri Patterson (ankle) and safety Tashaun Gipson (knee).

For once we'd like to see every Bengals cornerback practice during the same session. On Wednesday Jason Allen took to the field for the first time in five practices whereas Terence Newman works out on the side.
