Pittsburgh's Ike Taylor's Struggles This Season

Stay connected for news and updates

Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor figures to be the primary defender against Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green. It might be a benefit for Cincinnati's All-Star receiver.

Of the 42 targeted passes that Taylor covered this year, opposing quarterbacks have generated a 118.5 passer rating against Pittsburgh's top cornerback. And of the five games played this season, Taylor has allowed at least one touchdown in four.

Additionally Taylor allowed over 100 yards receiving against the Denver Broncos and Tennessee Titans, as well as a 71-yard reception, 37 and 24 this season.

We're not saying that Ike Taylor will be matched up on A.J. Green all game. And we're not saying that if he is, Green will have an adventurous Sunday night. We're not saying that all at.
