For the second time in as many weeks, Bengals starting left tackle Andrew Whitworth showed up on the injury report with a knee. Heading into the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, he sat during Wednesday's practice, was limited on Thursday and practiced in full on Friday. Whitworth, listed as probable at the time, ended up playing during Cincinnati's 27-10 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
However according to the grades produced by Pro Football Focus, Whitworth's performance was arguably his worst this year, scoring a season-low -2.4 during rush blocking. It was his first negative score of the season.
Additionally according the NFL Game Statistics and Information System, whenever the Cincinnati Bengals run to the left, behind Whitworth and to his outside, the Bengals rushing offense is averaging 1.7 yards per rush for the season.
Whitworth showed up on Wednesday's injury report with a knee, but instead of sitting like last week, he was limited.
