The Cincinnati Bengals finished their bye week and improved their power rankings.
One shouldn't just assume that when a team takes the weekend off that they're power rankings would be affected. And definitely not for the better. After all you didn't play, how could you be viewed more favorably.
Yet that's exactly what happened with the Bengals.
Three polls that we monitor voted the Bengals one spot higher, while others dropped the team a position. Cincinnati's averaging ranking improved 0.4 points.
