Dolphins Extend Lead On 46-Yard Field Goal By Dan Carpenter

After a critical possession that the Bengals failed to do anything with, the Dolphins continued to make some big plays at big moments. Ryan Tannehill continued his efficient day with some short passes and it has plagued the Bengals defense all afternoon.

After an illegal shift penalty by the Dolphins, Tannehill connected on a pass to Daniel Thomas for a nine-yard gain to set the Dolphins up for field goal range. Miami kicker Dan Carpenter connected on a 46-yard field goal, extending the Dolphins lead 17-6. Miami has scored 17 unanswered points and the Bengals responded with another three-and-out on offense.
