Andy Dalton is NOT a franchise quarterback in the NFL.............not yet!

I will start off by saying that playoff teams don't lose to a 1-3 football team with a rookie starting QB at HOME.

Andy Dalton had accuracy problems all game long starting in the first quarter and ending in his last pass he over threw badly to seal the fate of the BENGALS losing to the Dolphins. today. I know that Dalton has a lot of supporters in Bengal Nation and they are already screaming to look at his last three games and the numbers he put up but those teams are likely to not make the playoffs in Washington and Jacksonville and Cleveland had both of their starting corners out of that game so Dalton does what he always does in putting up numbers against the bottom feeders in the NFL but when it's showtime and he has to play an elite team like Baltimore or Houston he simply can't seem to lead his team to a win.

Andy Dalton is not evolving like a 2nd year quarterback should coming off leading his team to the playoffs and him going to the Pro Bowl. Year two is when franchise quarterbacks either get it or they don't. Dalton got sucked in to the media saying that he can't make the deep throws and he busted his ass in the summer to get stronger in his upper body so he could make those throws and he has got stronger but it has affected his timing and accuracy which are the BIG TWO THINGS needed to run the GRUDEN'S style of the west coast offense. Andy Dalton was specifically drafted for those two things because he did those better than any quarterback coming out of the draft the year he came out.

I am not saying that Dalton can never be an elite quarterback in the NFL because he has the potential but you can not LOSE to the Dolphins at home, you simply can't do it. Baltimore and Pittsburgh don't lose these games.

It should also be clear that BJGE is not the running back that Bengal fans make him out to be. It's clear that he was a product of Tom Brady and the system they run. New England made no effort at all to re-sign him instead choosing to plug in another UNDRAFTED FA to plug in behind Brady and company and those two rookie backs they have are putting up numbers better than BJG.I know that our offensive line is pretty soft and not giving holes for Ellis to run through but B-Scott showed some flashes today before he went out with another injury. He will probably miss the rest of the season with a hangnail or something.

I am pretty sure that fans will come running to DALTON"S defense but I call them like I see it and he cost his team a victory today.
