According to Bob Holtzman's report on ESPN's NFL Countdown, the Cincinnati Bengals are intending to shadow wide receiver Victor Cruz with cornerback Leon Hall.
Hall generally lines up at right cornerback, taking on the widest receiver to his side -- and not the opposing team's best receiver. Based on the report, Hall will shadow Cruz all over the field.
Cruz currently stands with 57 receptions for 717 yards receiving and seven touchdowns. On the other hand he's not nearly as explosive as he was last season, with only seven catches of 20 yards or more and two longer than 40.
