Bengals Fail Fourth Down Conversion

Stay connected for news and updates

The Bengals turned the ball over on downs after having a nice drive that took them to the Giants 31 yard line. The Bengals decided to go for it on fourth down rather than attempting a 48 yard field goal attempt that could have put them up by two touchdowns. Quarterback Andy Dalton almost threw an interception on fourth and two. The pass was intended for Jermaine Gresham.

The eleven play drive went for 49 yards and took over six minutes off the clock. Key plays included a 20 yard pass to rookie Orson Charles and a three yard run by Mohamed Sanu that put the Bengals in Giants territory. The Giants still trail 14-3 with twelve minutes remaining.
