The Cincinnati Bengals exploded early with a 14-0 lead during the game's first five minutes, thanks to big plays from A.J. Green and Adam Jones on punt return. Eventually the Bengals offense settled down sustaining drives, but struggling to convert opportunities to finish those drives favorably. On the other hand the defense has held the struggling Giants offense in check.
The second half opens with the Giants on offense with Cincinnati sporting a 17-6 lead.
