Broncos Cornerback Tracy Porter Out For Sunday Versus Bengals

Stay connected for news and updates

In a break for the Cincinnati Bengals, the Denver Broncos have announced that they will be without the services of starting cornerback, Tracy Porter on Sunday. Unfortunately for Porter, he's had a battle with seizures recently and is currently being medicated and monitored for the situation. It's this ailment that is contributing to him being out of the lineup on Sunday.

Porter was a free agent acquisition for the Broncos this offseason (who also visited Cincinnati), and has had a solid 2012 campaign to date. His lone interception was returned for a touchdown, but he hasn't played in a game since October 7th against the Steelers.

Taking Porter's place is Tony Carter, who has really come on in his absence. Carter will team up with future Hall of Fame cornerback, Champ Bailey to man the spots for Denver. Head coach John Fox has been very high on Carter since his insertion into the lineup. We'll also see Omar Bolden and Chris Harris get some game action.
