Hello Bengal fans, my name's Will and I'm the unofficial representative of Giants fans from BBV and the interwebz. In this post, myself and other Giant fans will do our best to answer any question you have for us.
I'd like to take a moment to be serious and say my thoughts and prayers are with your friend JungleJohn. Times like these show the true value in sites like SBN, in bringing together a true community and family where we may not all agree with each other, but always support each other. I hope he gets well better and is joining you guys with his thoughts on Dalton to Green very soon.
Back to football, Sunday's game will only be the 9th time our two beloved franchises meet. The Bengals own the head to head record 5-3, including wining the first four contests between the two.
Eli is 1-1 vs the Bengals, with a loss in his rookie season and his win in a thrilling OT match in 2008.
Interestingly, you guys play both Manning brothers in consecutive weeks. I have no idea if this has ever happened before. Evidently it has happened twice before, once in 2004 and once in 2006. Both times Eli was a loser, but also the first Manning bro to go up.
Tom Coughlin is 11-6 vs the Bengals, 10-5 as head coach of the Jaguars when the them and the Bengals were in the same division until realignment in 2002.
Let's hope for no injuries and a good game on Sunday!
