Several Bengals Sit During Wednesday's Practicing Heading Into Week Ten

Mark Zerof-US PRESSWIRE

The Cincinnati Bengals have a handful of players out on Wednesday's practice, but we suspect it's more nagging issues than anything serious.

Dennis Roland took snaps at left guard during Cincinnati's first practice this week as the team prepares for the 6-3 Super Bowl Champion New York Giants. This isn't an indictment on Clint Boling. In fact it might be the whole Eric Steinbach persona all over again, with Boling taking a handful of snaps at center while Trevor Robinson rests an injured hamstring during Wednesday's session.

It appears that Jeff Faine practice, but with the starting center having his own issue with a hammy, the Bengals are better off being prepared.

Also resting on Wednesday is Marvin Jones, who suffered an injury against the Pittsburgh Steelers before the Week Eight Bye. Reggie Nelson, who left the game against the Broncos with an injury, was also out alongside Andrew Whitworth and running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis.
