Bengals Implosion Continues After Andy Dalton Fumble

Stay connected for news and updates

After the Philadelphia Eagles got back into the game with an 11-yard touchdown to Riley Cooper, Brandon Tate gave the Bengals decent field position with a 33-yard return to the Eagles 35-yard line.

Yet it didn't matter.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis was obliterated for a one-yard loss, followed by a seven-yard shovel pass to Brian Leonard and a false start by Marvin Jones, setting up a third and nine at Cincinnati's 36-yard line. Dalton drops back, shows obsessive indecision and gets the football knocked out of his hands by defensive end Brandon Graham.

Trent Cole recovered the football at Cincinnati's 29-yard line. A quick review later and the Eagles have the football.

After scoring ten points on their opening two possessions, the Bengals have gone punt, three and out and fumble.

The implosion thus is on.
