Andrew Whitworth (Concussion) Sits Out During Wednesday's Practice

Stay connected for news and updates

At one point late in the game against the Philadelphia Eagles, Bengals offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth lifted himself off the turf, becoming very unstable and noticeably showing signs of being a little woozy, long after the game had been decided.

Backup tackle Anthony Collins came in to finish the game.

It was later determined that he had suffered a concussion (though we kind of figured).

On Wednesday Whitworth sat out during practice, wearing a ball cap, despite saying t hat he feels fine. If Whitworth, who has faced some of the better pass rushers in the NFL this year, is unable to go, figure that Collins, who made his first career start against the Steelers in 2008, will get the start.

Whitworth was reportedly the only player not practicing.
