Bengals Announce Dre Kirkpatrick Suffered A Concussion

While the Cincinnati Bengals were mounting their final push to beat the San Diego Chargers on Sunday, the Cincinnati Bengals announced that cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick suffered a concussion and won't return to the game.

Kirkpatrick had missed a good chunk of the season with a knee injury and depending on the severity of the concussion, could miss additional time with four games remaining.

Dre Kirkpatrick Leaves Game With Hit To The Head

During Adam Jones' 15-yard punt return with 14:26 remaining in the game, Bengals rookie cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick laid on the field obviously injured. The training staff spoke to him momentarily and escorted him back to the locker room.

The Bengals announced that Kirkpatrick's return to the game is questionable after a hit to the head.
