The Queen City Rocks!!!
As a lifelong Cowboys fan from Flint, MI, I was excited to see them play in another NFL city not named Detroit. My friends and I who made the journey into the Heart of Darkness of Bengal country had some trepidation on how we would be received in our native colors. I have to admit I was very surprised on how accommodating the Bengals fans were and how fun your city is! My fear stemmed from the horror stories I have heard about UofM fans invading Columbus and carnage unleashed upon them. Maybe it would have been different if we were wearing Black and Gold or Brown and White? The food (Montgomery Inn Boathouse) and the nightlife were tremendous. The scenic views along the riverwalk made the stumble to the hotel quite enjoyable. I even learned some new facts about football from my visit. I had no idea you guys invented "corn hole" and never new about the "Who Dey" chant. Very awesome! In closing, I would like to say thanks and let y'all know you have one heck of a sports town! If the NFL is going to start doing outdoor Super Bowls, I feel you guys should be at the top of the list. It's the least they could do for one of the founding fathers of football. It's too bad Detroit messed up and didn't take advantage of their natural resources like Cincinnati. P.S. To all of the patrons at the Holy Grail, I kept my word about us beating the Steelers for you! Good Luck!
