As the defending champion of the ‘official’ Cincy Jungle fantasy football league in 2011, I was excluded from the 2012 league...the whole eliminate the tough competition strategy. So I started my own Cincy Jungle fantasy football league with 11 fellow Cincy Jungle challengers.
It was good fun. Our league was a very competitive, active league with many of the teams making many add/drops, and over the course of the season, 9 of our 12 teams ended up scoring within +/- 6 points per game of each other. Plus, we had no horrible teams, which was a plus, so every game was a good matchup.
The teams included:
+ Brown’s Pocket Lint
+ Nihil Obstat
+ Dalton’s gang
+ The Burfict Storm
+ Master of Disaster
+ Brazillian Bengals
+ The Infamous
+ Green Envy
+ Show me your TDs
+ MCSubtext
+ Burfict Strangers
+ Peko’s Problem Child
(sorry I don’t know their CJ screen names)
Our league just ended yesterday with Nihil Obstat defeating Brown’s Pocket Lint 121.78-79.52 to take home the title. The Burfict Storm ran away from Dalton’s gang 136.44-88.30 to finish third.
So congratulations to me for winning my second consecutive Cincy Jungle fantasy football league.
Woo hoo! :-)
So I must thank A Rodgers & Dez Bryant for their huge games yesterday, and I must thank all the backup RB’s I added during the season who replaced my starters who went on IR.
Looking forward to next season!!!!!
