Now that the Cincinnati Bengals have made the postseason by wiping out the Steelers, they have to love us.
Beating the Pittsburgh Steelers with the implication of making the postseason gave Cincinnati tons of Power Rankings street cred over the weekend. Most rankings are top-ten, save for a few but the averages fell to 9.7. We would say that by making the Super Bowl, that average would fall to No. 1 but we're fairly that the mainstream media would struggle to rank them higher than No. 5.
Our own SB Nation writes that the Bengals "lack consistency". In a way they have a point. The Bengals have won six of their last seven games, not seven straight.
