Frank Victores-US PRESSWIRE

As Black Monday continues to unfold, Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden is being thrown around as a possible head coach candidate for several teams.

According to WGR550's Howard Simon, host of the Howard Simon show, the Buffalo Bills are "gathering information" on Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden in the wake of Chan Gailey's firing as a possible head coaching candidate.

The Bills haven't had a winning season since 2004 and haven't made it into the playoffs since 1999. They may be interested in Gruden to help pump some life into their offense as he was able to do with Andy Dalton and A.J. Green in Cincinnati, so the Bills can compete with the Patriots, who have been in the playoffs nine of the last 10 years.

Gruden is now linked with the Bills as well as the Eagles for a head coaching position. Due to the fact that several coaches across the league are being fired Monday, those two teams probably won't be the last.
