Cincinnati Bengals running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis was nominated for the FedEx Ground NFL player of the week for the third time in as many weeks.
For the third time in as many weeks, Cincinnati Bengals running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis is one of three finalists for the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week, joining Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles and Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.
Green-Ellis recorded a career-high third 100-yard rushing game in a row, generating 118 against the San Diego Chargers on 25 carries. Charles generated 127 yards on 27 carries during Kansas City's 27-21 win over the Carolina Panthers. Peterson exploded for 210 yards on 21 carries and a touchdown during Minnesota's 23-14 loss to the Green Bay Packers.
