The Cincinnati Bengals made a roster move on Tuesday, placing Mohamed Sanu on IR and calling up running back Boom Herron from the practice squad.

The Cincinnati Bengals announced on Tuesday that they've placed wide receiver Mohamed Sanu on Injured Reserve, who suffered a season-ending injury during Thursday's practice. They've called up practice squad running back Daniel "Boom" Herron, who they drafted in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL draft.

Herron generated 42 yards rushing on 25 carries and five receptions for 26 yards during the preseason. He was waived on August 31 and placed on the practice squad the following day.

Replacing Herron on the practice squad is wide receiver Vidal Hazelton, who closed the 2011 season on the team's practice squad. He posted three receptions for 23 yards receiving during the preseason this year.
