Frank Victores-US PRESSWIRE

Cincinnati Bengals CB Dre Kirkpatrick missed Wednesday's practice because he failed concussions tests; the team will monitor. Other plays sat during Wednesday's session.

During a special teams play against the San Diego Chargers, Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick left the game feeling a little woozy, man. The team announced originally on Sunday that he suffered a neck injury, later ruled a concussion and he obviously didn't return that afternoon.

On Wednesday the team announced that Kirkpatrick had not passed his concussion tests, therefore sitting out during Wednesday's practice. Chances for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys will be debatable for now and the team will monitor his condition as the week goes on.

Marvin Jones also missed Sunday's practice with an illness, as did Mike Nugent who is dealing with a calf. Cedric Peerman, who remains in a boot, also sat on Wednesday. Jermaine Gresham was limited (hamstring) while Kyle Cook was full participation on his way back to the 53-man roster.
