Hello Cincy Jungle!
Over at TST, were doing a Mock Draft, so i wanted to know what you guys wanted my to do with your picks. its a two round mock draft. At the moment i have offered a trade to someone for Justin Blackmon. I have offered your first, first round pick, second in 2013, fourth in 2012 for Blackmon and there fourth rounder in 2013. im also thinking of drafting Lamar Miller with your first round pick and whoever you want in the second. Your opinons would be appreciated.

take it!
we would love to have Blackmon! even though we do need to adress other major holes like CB, SS, and our G and RB situation. but having Blackmon would make us an elite passing attack,
disagree 100%
Would absolutely hate to trade up for blackmon.

you have us trading up for blackmon???
Noooo way off. If you want to trade up do it for decastro, or a few spots of Richardson falls so we can get ahead of the jets. Bengals need a guard, corner, running back, saftey. Wide reciever is secondary to all 4 of them, and Blackmons not even on the same level S julio Jones, so no way we trade that high to get him.

lol yea doesn't make much sense
considering we had problems getting the ball to our number two receiver. We have to many holes to fill to even think about trading up for blackmon.
Richardson is a different story. Perfect fit to our offense and the player type we are looking for. And if he falls around the 8 spot, we will only have to trade an additional 2nd round pick, which is well worth it.

Would love DeCastro, Richardson, Kirkpatrick....in that order or trading to get 2 of them in first.

Not trades - PLEASE!!!!
If Richardson is gone in the first please do NOT take a RB instead take Doug Martin in the 2nd round.
Kirkpatric /Gilmore – CB
DeCastro/Glenn – Guards
Doug Martin – RB
i would trade a 1st and 3rd
To hop a few spots for decastro or Richardson. That’s it.

NO trading up.
Take the BPA of the following players:
1. DeCastro
2. Richardson
3. Kirkpatrick
4. Glenn
5. Gilmore
6. Dennard
7. Jenkins
you forget barron
unless you are targeting dennard as a SS (which some teams will do in the 2nd round if he’s still on the board)

No to JB
The Bengals would not make that trade. The only player I can see the Bengals trading up for is Richardson and contrary to some peoples wants we wouldn’t trade up for DeCastro either. 1st rnd DeCastro, Richardson, Kirkpatrick, Jenkins, Glenn, Barron. 2nd if we didn’t get a RB in the first then take the best one here.

How about trading up using Keith Rivers and Brandon Ghee?
Paul Brown Stadium, where everyone's hopes go to die.
hey in a mock draft, if someone wants to take rivers and ghee, i'll listen =)
intently even…

A team like the Eagles might be interested in Rivers

A team like the Eagles...
would be interested in having ME play linebacker.
I'm throwin' rocks tonight! Mark it, Dude.

hows that help us move up though?
Maybe 21 and rivers for their first? But why would they do that when they will have their pick of linebackers who are not yet busts.

The view on Lamar Miller is mixed
Some folks would love him at #21…others would prefer to wait to grab best available in round 2…..others would prefer to take Trent Richardson at 17 or trade up to get Trent.
I hate it when Ephram uses data & facts to refute my unfounded opinions....No chocolate chip cookies for him!!!
i just don't he fits the bill for what we would be looking for out of the back field in our new offense
id pass on miller late in the first in hopes we get martin or pead in the 2nd or 3rd. And thats if we don’t trade up to get Richardson.

Now, I know pretty much nothing about the bengals, so excuse me
but wont Lamar Miller, give your offense a little more flash at the RB position. I believed that many Bengal fans didn’t like Cedric Benson, who in my opnion, is a lot like Trent Richardson. I also declined the trade and instead am thinking about standing pat and getting either DeCastro or Kirpatrick depending whos there and Miller in the second first round pick. I also thought of getting Dwight Jones/Malcolm Flyod in the second. I may try trading up, but for who?

Benson is nothing like Richardson
Benson is an overrated loser who could be a pretty good back but instead he chooses to fall down as soon as he’s touched, if not sooner. When he does bother to try, which happens once or twice a year, he often fumbles. He’s a bust that is only good at getting a lot of carries for a low average without missing too much time to injury. If that’s all you want, he’s your guy. Then again, so is about 60 other guys that might actually have more potential.

who to trade up for
Basically Kirkpatrick. DeCastro and Richardson both have a chance to fall to 17 in the real world, but in mocks will probably go high so you can go for them as well. If you’re going for a RB in the 2nd, I’d look for the kid from Boise St or maybe Miller. Just not the guy from VTech, he sounds exactly like Benson. Fumbles just happen, nothing he can do about it. If he averages 3 ypc on 15 carries, well it’s the coaches fault for not giving him 25. We don’t want him.

Just about everybody on Cincy Jungle wants a Cornerback in round 1 (Dre, Jenkins, Gilmore, Dennard, etc…)
There is also a lot of love for Mark Barron at #21.
They also desperated need a Guard.
DeCastro ideally (but doubt he falls to 17). Cordy/Konz look like candidates at #21 for a lot of folks here, although some prefer to take best available in round 2.
I hate it when Ephram uses data & facts to refute my unfounded opinions....No chocolate chip cookies for him!!!
I think we've love to have Blackmon....
but not in a trade up, as that gives up too much.
Reading the various mocks on Cincy Jungle, the overall consensus is that we want to get a CB, RB, OG in the draft from the first 2 rounds.
Although the WHO and the ORDER that we take those 3 positions varies wildly.

lets try to keep it in the land of realistic moves brown would make
trading up to get a wr, really doesn’t help this team. we’re already solid enough at wr. mortgaging the farm for another wr seems like a bit of a reach.
"the bengals are not a west of the 104 longitude team."
If it were me...
kirkpatrick & Floyd. Martin in the 2nd
It's very easy
Do whatever you can to get DeCastro with one pick. With the other do whatever you can to get Dre Kirkpatrick or Trent Richardson.
We could use another WR, but we desperately NEED 2 guards, a real starting RB, at least 1 CB, and at least 1 S.
AGREED
1st RD-Dre Kirkpatrick-CB
1st RD-Cordy Glenn-OG
2nd RD-Brandon Thompson-DT
3rd RD-Amini Silatolu-OG
4th RD-Marvin Jones-WR
5th RD-Marquis Maze-KR
FA:
SS-Laron Landry
RB-Micheal Bush
Draft
David DeCastro OG or Cordy Glenn
Dre Kirkpatrick CB or Mark Barron SS
1st RD-Dre Kirkpatrick-CB
1st RD-Cordy Glenn-OG
2nd RD-Brandon Thompson-DT
3rd RD-Amini Silatolu-OG
4th RD-Marvin Jones-WR
5th RD-Marquis Maze-KR
FA:
SS-Laron Landry
RB-Micheal Bush
wouldnt hate that
But would rather trade up a little less and give up less for kirkpatrick.
