If I could build the 2012 Bengals roster
QB Dalton, Gradkowski
RB Martin(2nd rd), Scott, Leonard
Offense
WR Green, Wayne(FA-huge mentor for young WR's), Shipley, Broyles(3rd rd), Binns, Hawkins, Tate
TE Gresham, Lee, Egnew(4th rd)
LT Withworth
LG DeCastro(pick 17)
C Cook
RG Williams
RT Smith
Defense
DE Dunlap, Johnson, Fanene, Mario Williams
DT Peko, Atkins, Sims(if price is right)
LB Rey, Rivers, Howard, Moch, Johnson
CB Hall, Kirkpatrick or Jenkins(pick 21), Clements, Ghee, Jones(if price is right)
S Nelson, Laron Landry, Mays, Sands
Still a few blanks to fill in but I think it is realistic. We will still be young and coming with a few great vets mixed in to help show them the way.

Only thing is DeCastro plays right guard at Stanford, I'd prefer to keep him there and have Bobbie back him up for 1 or 2 years.
Paul Brown Stadium, where everyone's hopes go to die.
DeCastro
I think he is good enough to play anywhere and we seem to like running left
For left guard
Either Amini Silatolu in the 3rd round, or a free agent left guard like Nicks or Grubbs (all three are left guards)
Paul Brown Stadium, where everyone's hopes go to die.
Nicks and Grubbs
Would love either of those guys!! Do not think we can get Mario and one of them. Also like DeCastro so much do not want to pass on him
Kirkpatrick over Jenkins any day of the week.
I like Doug Martin, he makes his own plays happen and has a quick burst through the holes…& instead of Broyles i’d take Marvin Jones in the 3rd…even though i think Broyles is good, i think he’ll be a slot man in the league..We have plenty in the slot as of now.
1st RD-Dre Kirkpatrick-CB
1st RD-Cordy Glenn-OG
2nd RD-Brandon Thompson-DT
3rd RD-Amini Silatolu-OG
4th RD-Marvin Jones-WR
5th RD-Marquis Maze-KR
FA:
SS-Laron Landry
RB-Micheal Bush
I would actually keep DeCastro at RG
And hope Boiling could start at LG and have Williams be a back up. Also if Sims wasnt resigned I would go DT in the 3rd instead of reciever. Otherwise I would be happy with this roster.

From a Houston perspective, this is the offense I really would never, EVER, want to play against
QB – Andy Dalton (What can I say, kid’s gonna be a stud)
RB – Trent Richardson (RB’s generally fall in drafts as it is, let alone the fact that every single dominant RB in the game today is not a first rounder. There is a good chance he falls to your 17 pick because it is a very undervalued position these days)
WR – AJ Green, Jordan Shipley, Reuben Randle (a 6’4" frame that runs a 4.5 forty and blocks better than most other wideouts in college. Put up over 900 yards and 8 TD’s in an offense that threw the ball only 279 times all year, one of the lowest in the entire nation, with 2 different below average QB’s. He’s a vastly undervalued physical specimen)
TE – Gresham (An off season to develop with Andy will do him good)
LT – Withworth
OG – Williams, Cordy Glenn (You can get him in the 2nd, and he’s a fantastic prospect)
C – Cook
RT – Smith
I love Richardson
Really wish he would be there but do not see it was picking from who I think will be there but again would love to get him or maybe give you guys a first for Foster what a stud
Mays better then Landry?
Mays needs to learn angles from someone other then Crocker before he can play
Reality Check = Two problems
Castro won’t be their at 17
Mikey won’t shell out for Mario
Decastro
No G has EVER went higher then 15 so it could happen. Mike has to spend money starting next year why not get ahead of the game and get someone worth spending it on Mike seems to be getting a little more with the program and if he has to spend the money he will want to win so he can make it back
