God I hope Hillis doesn't come here.
He would be a downgrade from Benson IMHO as Benson at least can stay healthy and give a you full season. Wayne is aging so I think we should pass on him. Landry I would be fine with as we desperately need help at safety and I DON’T want to see Crocker in stripes next year. Routt on the other hand, if they’re bringing him in with the mindset that he would be an upgrade at number two corner opposite Hall then I don’t know what they’re smoking considering how bad the Raiders’ defense was last year, especially against the pass. Routt wouldn’t be a bad nickel corner but DON’T bring him in with the intention of having him start because I don’t think he’s even as good as Clements.
Routt to replace Jennings?
Paul Brown Stadium, where everyone's hopes go to die.
+1, No Hillis.........

No to Hillis & no to Wayne
I say we address these needs in Free Agency
CB (Stanford Routt)
SS (Laron Landry)
OG (A Starter)
RB (Michael Bush)..If Richardson isn’t there at 17.
Then we can draft by best talent available
WR-Kendell Wright
OG-Cordy Glenn
1st RD-Kendall Wright-WR
1st RD-Cordy Glenn-OG
2nd RD-Brandon Thompson-DT
3rd RD-LaMicheal James-RB
4th RD-Keenan Robinson-OLB
5th RD-Devon Wylie-WR
6th RD-Julian Miller-DE
7th RD-Bob Hebert-C
FA:
OG
RB
SS
CB
Except one thing...
We don’t get to decide on Bush after the draft. We will have to sign him BEFORE the draft, so there is no way to say “sign Bush if Richardson isn’t there at 17”
agreed
Cannot see R slipping to 17, but a Mendenhall type back, he destroyed Ohio State a few years ago, so did that guy we drafted when we passed on Jackson, in the pros not so much, no I think to get R you have to trade both 1’s. A RB who controls the game, that’s their ultimate goal….doesn’t mean it will happen

fellas
WIth 60 mil, they have so much to spend, one of a handful of teams with money to spend, and much of it has to be spent, Mike could be cheap and still go on a Saks Fifth Avenue shopping trip, lock up Andy AJ and the DT, can always cut lil Jumpy (Geathers,) though they love him, don;‘t think he makes enough big plays at a position that demands them, there’s another seven mil. and who knows if Leon is done, I saw a study that said by some formula, the vast majority of Achilles victims are never the same player, and he plays the most physically demanding position on the field. And he wasn’t Deion before the injury.

granted
it usually occurs in older players, on the decline, anyway, guess if Reggie Kelly came back at his age, but he isn’t a CB, there is usually a slight loss of function, possible to recover…….. ML says he will be ready by camp, ANYTHING’S POSSIBLE, hope the doc that passed Antonio Bryant on his physical isn’t treating him fortunate location, blah blah, I say you get two FA’s hell make a run at Cortland Finnegan, though some say he is joining Fisher in St. Louis. Joseph according to that DL, Thornton, says he could have been had for 5 years 30 mil in 2010 late, not to mention he is light years ahead of any corner in the draft, I hope they let Hue recruit Finnegan.
