Cincy we could have a problem...
I like to keep up with the competition as much as the Bengals... The old verbage, "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer!" RGIII is going to be a problem.
The kid is phenomenal. With Andrew Luck, you know what you are going to get... Outstanding pocketpasser that may scramble for 5-10 yards. With RGIII the kid can throw it 50 yards on the money and if that isn't there can run a 4.4 40 out of the pocket. It was brought up that the Browns may get TR and noone would like to see our team against him but I'm more worried about RGIII more so than a RB... That and some mock draft's have also paired up Kendall Wright, his top WR at Baylor in the draft in the first could be a nasty combination for years to come. I know it's early but with all the talk about what we may get I can but only think about what the Browns could do this year with their 2 first round picks. The Browns were not as bad as their record. Losing games with the top ranked passing defense by less than 6 points here or there. Just lacking playmakers on Offense... Those 2 and perhaps a RB in the 2nd or 3rd round just like us like a martin, Polk, or pead and Cincy we could have a problem... Going to keep the poll open till right after the draft...

RG3 probably will be picked #2 or #3
unless cleveland bites the bullet and trades with the rams or the vikings, rg3 will be a redskin or dolphin. even if cleveland should land RG3, who is going to throw the ball to?
little is their “best” receiving option and dude has stone hands. think little was #2 in drops in the nfl last season. and cleveland? they led the league in drops with 42 as a team.

My thoughts exactly.....he could be the best QB in the league, but.....
he’s going to one of the most offensively challenged teams in the league. Their line also had a lot of problems due to injuries last year too. Combine shaky line play with no weapons to speak of and any QB going there doesn’t scare me that much.

I believe he had 6 drops against us in the second game last year alone.....

their line could be injury-free this year and dominant
they’ve got a top-notch left side of the line. If they get the right side settled down they could have one of the best lines in the league. The problem is they don’t have a QB or any real WR threats or a productive RB. I can picture a scenario where they get BOTH RGIII and TR. The Browns have 2 first round picks too, don’t forget. 4 and 22. They could get Griffin at 4, possibly, or trade up to 2, and they could trade up from 22 to 16 for Richardson, since the Jets don’t need him and the Bengals are who they’d need to get in front of.
Now that doesn’t necessarily mean the Browns would be good right away, but if I’m the Cleveland GM I would trade most of the draft for those 2 guys. Keep a 3rd and 5th, maybe. Then grab Stevie Johnson & Anthony Collins in free agency and this team could potentially be very good in just a season or two.
No draft pick is a lock, see Charles Rogers or Tony Mandarich or Ryan Leaf (who was 50/50 with Peyton on who would be better in the NFL), but those 2 have very high ceilings.
I’ve said in lots of threads that teams don’t need Richardson like the Bengals do, but the Browns and Dolphins are the only ones that even come close. The Dolphins only have one 1st round pick, and their needs are many. With Luck & Griffin gone, I think they go for Rieff. That leaves the Browns as the real threat in the TR picture.

not so much worried about cleveland drafting richardson UNLESS
cleveland addresses their wr/qb issues in free agency. they bring in 1-2 receiving threats via free agency and make a play for another solid fa qb. will show cleveland is preparing to trade down from #4 and/or take the BPA. cleveland will also need to resign their stud fa LB.
cleveland trades that #4 down into top 15 pick pick this year, they are going after richardson. and will have multiple 1st round picks next year as well. that scenario scares me.
"the bengals are not a west of the 104 longitude team."
they don't need to trade down. They can take Griffin with the 4th (maybe 2nd) and
move from 22 to 16 without having to give up a boatload. Griffin & Richardson in the draft, Anthony Collins and a WR in FA, and suddenly they just might be a real team.
no guarantees they get griffin at 4th
as for richardson, browns have a better group of rbs than wrs. rg3 won’t have much luck throwing to their existing group of wrs in cleveland. the same wrs that led the nfl in drops in 2011.

Browns
Could make as big of a jump,as the the Steeler’s and Ravens decline
I still believe AFCN is ours to be had

agreed
the Browns could be dangerous if they have a good draft and free agency.

Browns have a pretty good d-line, and good DBs in Haden and T.J. Ward
Paul Brown Stadium, where everyone's hopes go to die.
college football =/= pro football
there is no gaurantee that RG3 will amount to anything.
maybe he will be the next big thing, or maybe he will be the next Akili Smith.
no reason to get worried until we play against him and he actually does something.
I hate it when Ephram uses data & facts to refute my unfounded opinions....No chocolate chip cookies for him!!!
We Need to Get Better
If we do, I’m not worried about anybody. They’ll have the problem.
Earn Your Stripes !
The Browns have had a QB controversy for the past decade.........
how’s that worked out for them? The drama will continue if they draft him.

how?
McCoy would have to have a season like Brees had when the Chargers got Rivers in order to keep Griffin off the bench. Unless he just fails, but by all reports he’s very smart in addition to being very fast and being able to make all the throws. I don’t think the NFL has ever seen a guy like this. I’m not saying he’ll be the best QB ever, but he looks like a solid prospect to me.

Never seen a guy like this before? Like.........Cam Newton maybe?
McCoy isn’t a bad QB, he’s just a part of a terrible offense. If they would actually give him some weapons, he would be fine. Getting a new QB wouldn’t solve the same problem, no other playmakers around the QB. I’m not here to solve the Browns problems, but living up here in Cleveland I get subjected to talk radio unvoluntarily and get to hear all about it.

If the Browns trade up to 2, they’ll lose both their first round picks and won’t be able to get Richardson. Why you ask would it cost them so much? Because if they’re moving up to 2 that means there is someone else also trying to move up to 2 and they’ll have to make a good offer to be the ones to win on the RGIII pick. So the chances of them getting both RGIII and TR are slim to none.

Gotta watch it lol!!!

I like RG3 but
Him going to Cleveland isn’t a slam dunk for them. Yes he has speed and is a great runner but his size is going to make him injury prone in the league. Much like Vick. He is good passer but they will need to surround him with good skill players. Yes the thought of him and Wright hooking up in Cleveland makes me sick to my stomach but I think they will have to trade up to get him and their 2nd first rounder would most likely be included.
