This guy ran a 4.37 at the combine. He has lightning speed and quickness standing at 5-9 185. The reason i like this guy is because he is a late rounder projected to go in the 4th or 5th round and could really help out our special teams and even add another guy to our WR core. I do like Hawkins but i would add this guy to the group and see who wins the job between Hawkins and Wylie, & whichever one doesn't win the job we should move them to the practice squad. If we would draft a WR early, i'd take Marvin Jones in the 3rd..so the lineup would be Aj, Jones, Shipley, Whalen, & Wylie or Hawkins. We could be stacked with these guys with speed in the slot. Wylie has a quick burst off the line and uses his quickness and speed to get open, imo he could be a Wes Welker type player who goes in a late round and becomes a star. Also on special teams Wylie could be a big contributor at returning punts or kicks. He knows how to use the field and has great vision and durability. We really shouldn't pass up on this guy in a late round with the talent he has. I'd use a 4th round pick or a 5th round pick on him. Wherever he's projected to likely fall come draft day.
In his career he's had 98 receptions, for 1327 yards, & 8 td's.
