Case in point look at Foster. Took over for Slaton and became a pro-bowler. Why can’t Binns get a shot, I’m sick of veteran WR who get paid and then are no more helpful that a untrained seeing eye dog. Coles(Mr. Timid), Bryant(Oh I'm hurt by the way and you still need to pay me 8Mill), Owens(alligator arms)… Why not see if we have that next star on our freaking bench/practice squad already, we are paying them to be there so why waste the money? The argument that someone is on a practice squad so they must suck doesn’t float with me, I was pissed to see Briscoe get plucked from our PS and I believe he was starting to produce for TB too to close out the season. I know that missed talent always finds itself on a PS, but to say Binns was on the PS so there-fore could never be our #2 is Bull. Opinions? I know its just mine and that I am probably in the minority but everyone loves an underdog.

Also for the argument that Coffman was a PS loser, I agree, but that had more to do with his in-ability to block IMO. If he had been behind Dallas Clark and Tamme and had an opportunity to be in a pass first offense with Peyton Manning he may be one of the better receiving TE's in the NFL right now. Its all down to opportunities!! So lets give Binns a Shot, even Hazelton before we just dump another Veteran FA in front of any new prospect not named AJ!!
