According to Geoff Hobson, the Cincinnati Bengals have officially announced the signings of fullback Chris Pressley, running back Cedric Peerman, linebacker Vincent Rey and defensive tackle Nick Hayden.
#Bengals officially announce Pressley signing as well as Peerman, Rey, Hayden
The contract extension for Pressley was announced late last week, but this is news for the other three players. Peerman didn't carry the ball very often in 2011, but he was a very effective special teams player and with Cedric Benson set to leave Cincinnati, it's possible that Peerman might have a bigger role in the backfield.
Rey played in every Bengals game this year, mostly on special teams and occasionally in short yardage situations and Hayden only played in Weeks 13 and 14, making three tackles, and was inactive for the rest of the season.
Pressley will attempt to hold on to his position as the team's starting fullback this offseason and the other three will be given a shot to get more playing time.
