If you happen to live in Cincinnati, then you may know something about The Banks. If you don't live in Cincinnati, here's what I can tell you: The Banks is a massive development on the bank of the Ohio River between Paul Brown Stadium and Great American Ballpark, where the Reds play. There are condos, bars, restaurants and shops opening up in and around the new development. So basically, it's what every city with a professional sports team does around the stadium to attract people to the area, Cincinnati is just jumping on board 20 years late.
Well, in The Banks, some Bengals players have decided to open up an Orange Leaf: America's Frozen Yogurt, where they will sell..... frozen yogurt. According to WLWT, those Bengals players are Frostee Rucker along with Robert Geathers, Kevin Huber and Pat Sims and others.
Some members of the Cincinnati Bengals are opening shop at the newest addition to The Banks.
The frozen yogurt shop Orange Leaf announced that it will be opening a franchise on Walnut Street at the riverfront development. The franchise will be controlled by Bengals defensive end Frostee Rucker, along with partners defensive end Robert Geathers, punter Kevin Huber and defensive tackle Pat Sims, among others.
So it would appear that if you happen to be downtown on a hot day and you feel like grabbing a frozen yogurt, you can buy one from one of a few Bengals players (though I'm pretty sure they aren't going to be working there).
I don't know about you, but owning a frozen yogurt shop doesn't sound like a very NFL-ish think to do, but then again, everybody loves
ice cream yogurt.
Also, hopefully we can assume that Pat Sims and Frostee Rucker, and any other free agent that has bought into this new yogurt franchise are going to stay in Cincinnati so they can not only kick ass for the Bengals but keep a close eye on their investment as well.
