Bengals linebacker Dan Skuta has received right of first refusal restricted free agent tender. This means that if Skuta accepts an offer sheet from a new club, then the Bengals have the "right of first refusal," which is a seven-day period in which the Bengals may match the offer and retain him, or choose not to match the offer. If this happens, Cincinnati may receive one or more draft picks for the upcoming draft from Skuta's new club. If an offer sheet is not executed, his rights revert to his old club the day after negotiations end.
