Chicago Bears Making A Push For Defensive End Jeremy Mincey

According to Dan Pompei with the National Football Post, the Chicago Bears are making a push to sign free agent defensive end Jeremy Mincey.

Reports began surfacing last week that the Cincinnati Bengals could have interest in the former Jacksonville defensive end. But now that the Buffalo Bills appear set on making defensive end Mario Williams the highest paid defensive player in the NFL, a player that the Bears had targeted early, Chicago is moving onto a more financially manageable player, though not as talented.
