Earlier today, we published a report from Dan Pompei that stated that the Chicago Bears were shifting their free agent focus from Mario Williams to Jaguars defensive end, Jeremy Mincey. If you also remember, we published a report last week that stated that the Bengals had quite a bit of interest in Mincey. Another unfortunate development has befallen the Bengals and their quest to round out their roster.
According to Alfie Crow, the Managing Editor of SB Nation's Big Cat Country blog, the Jaguars have swooped in and re-signed their defensive end.

If our source was accurate about the Bengals' interest in Mincey, they'll have to cross another targeted player off of their list. It's possible that the team has now turned their interest to former Dolphins defensive end, Kendall Langford, given a recent report, but no visits have been scheduled.
While the team may be wise in their decision to not overpay certain free agents they may have targeted, the reality is that the list of available quality players is dwindling.
