In all, Brandon Carr, Cortland Finnegan and Vincent Jackson are the only players who deserved the money they got (though as a disclaimer I don't know the details of Mincey's contract). I think the Bengals can now enter the market and try and get some value for thier buck. Williams and Nicks are still probably out of thier grasp, but things could get interesting since the the most expensive player that people were linking them to (Mincey) is now off the market. MB can either bargain shop or go big. If he doesn't shell out some loot now, next year he will absolutely have to, which is fine by me. With such a young core of players, the real free agency shouldn't happen until next year (or later, but again he can't take it with him after next year) anyway.
Rambling, incoherent post, but I just couldn't beleive how poorly most teams just came out guns blazing to shoot themselves in the foot today.
