Browns release Eric Steinbach

The news just came in today that the Browns released G Eric Steinbach due to contract restructuring disputes and the two sides being unable to come to an agreement on how much they should reduce Steinbach's salary. Now we need help at guard as we all know and with Nicks signing in TB and Grubbs being heavily courted by New Orleans right now, this could open a window for us, we just need to jump on the opportunity. Bring Steinbach back home to Cincy, where he belongs. I personally am still seething over letting Steinbach go six years ago in free agency for a lot of the same reasons we're seeing our own players leave now, because Mike Brown is a lazy spender and refuses to be competitive in free agency. We need to address guard in both free agency and the draft but I still think Steinbach has plenty left and I certainly hope they'll give him a look now that he's available rather than re-sign Livings, who would truly be a waste of money no matter how small the contract. Make it happen, we need to get revenge on them for snatching Rucker away from us.
