The visits are starting to somewhat pile up for the Bengals. According to a report, the Bengals will also be hosting former St. Louis Rams guard Jacob Bell tonight. Bell started twelve games for the Rams last season. He attended Miami of Ohio before being drafted in the fifth round of the 2004 draft by the Tennessee Titans. Bell struggled last season and Nate Livings may be a better option at this point.

Bell is a local product and would likely help the depth of the guard position, but likely wouldn't be an obvious choice to start. With Nate Livings, Bobbie Williams, and Mike McGlynn all free agents, depth at the guard position is something that the Bengals sorely need. The only signed guards are Clint Boling and Otis Hudson. So, while Bell likely would not be the sexy signing that many fans want, he would help the depth on the line.
