The Ballad of Mediocre Mike Brown
Come and listen to the story ‘bout a boy named Mike,
A born disappointment, his Pa disgusted by his sight
Then one day he was being a lawyer sh#t,
When into his lap fell a team ownership
(Bengals they were, black stripes, winning ways)
Well the first thing you know, Mikey thinks he's got a pair,
as he rakes in the bucks, and he leaves the cupboard bare
Sad Cincinnati is the place he wants to be,
‘cause we gave him a crib, yep, he got it for free!
(Incompetent he is, cheap too)
Well now it’s time to say good-bye to Mike and all his kin,
They would like to thank the fans for kindly chipping in
We’re all invited back next year to watch this travesty,
To choke on a helping of the Bengal’s ignominy
(Free agents you see, that’s what others are signing now,
skilled and in their prime, ya’ll come back now, ya hear!)
