During the insanity of free agency, the Cincinnati Bengals continue checking out prospects during college pro days. Marvin Lewis shipped out to the west coast late last week, attending Oregon's Pro Day and most likely Oregon's running back LaMichael James. Lewis later attended Arizona State's Pro Day, showing interest in linebacker Vontaze Burfict.
Team representatives also attended Temple's Pro Day on Friday with assumed interest in running back Bernard Pierce. Another prospect at Temple is tight end Evan Rodriguez, a player that the Bengals have interest with due to his size and probability of a duel-role as a tight end and full back (you know how they love those versatile guys).
According to his twitter account, Rodriguez spent a lot of time chatting with the Bengals:
Spent a lot of time with the #Bengals #Bears #Niners yesterday, #blessed to be a part of #Temple and all good things on North Broad #TUFB
