Though the weekend in sports was as usual (busy), it doesn't mean that sports shuts down. We have baseball, more basketball and some hockey. There's something for mostly everyone.

MLB Exhibition: Detroit Tigers vs. Philadelphia Phillies (1 PM, ESPN)
Watch with glee as Prince Fielder is out of the National League Central.

NIT Tournament Second Round: (7 PM, ESPN): No. 4 Middle Tennessee at No. 1 Tennessee
Tennessee won by 14 over Savannah State while Middle Tennessee disposed of Marshall (86-78) in the first round.

College Baseball: Virginia at Florida State (7 PM, ESPNU)
I'll be honest. I have no idea how the college baseball scene looks. But I suspect someone reading these pages is gearing up for the MLB draft and if this game is on ESPNU, then it must be a good one.

NCAA Woman's Basketball (7 PM, ESPN2): Coverage Varies

No. 8 Kansas State vs. No. 1 Connecticut
No. 7 Louisville vs. No 2 Maryland
No. 8 West Virginia vs. No. 1 Stanford
No. 5 South Carolina vs. No. 4 Purdue

NHL Hockey: New Jersey Devils at New York Rangers (7:30 PM, NBC Sports)
The last time these two Atlantic Division teams faced each other, the Devils beat the Rangers 5-1. But New York has a chance Monday night to tie the season-series at 3-3.

NBA Basketball: Chicago Bulls at Orlando Magic (8 PM, TNT)
Derrick Rose isn't expected to play with a groin injury, but the Bulls still lead the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference by 2.5 games and 7.5 games over the third-place Magic.

NIT Tournament Second Round: No. 6 Minnesota at No. 2 Miami (9 PM, ESPN)
Minnesota eliminated La Salle, 70-61 and Miami defeated Valparaiso, 66-50 in the first round.

NCAA Woman's Basketball (9:30 PM, ESPN2): Coverage Varies

No. 7 UW Green Bay vs. No. 2 Kentucky
No. 7 Depaul vs. No. 2 Tennessee
No. 6 Arkansas vs. No 3 Texas A&M
No. 11 Gonzaga vs. No. 3 Miami (Fla.)

NHL Hockey: Anaheim Ducks at San Jose Sharks (10 PM, NBC Sports)
San Jose is only one point behind Dallas in the Pacific Division whereas Anaheim comfortably sits in last place. Yea. I don't know much about these teams.

NBA Basketball: Dallas Mavericks at Denver Nuggets (10:30 PM, TNT)
Dallas dominated Denver (102-84) the last time these teams met in mid-February.

NIT Tournament Second Round: No. 7 Illinois State at No. 3 Stanford
It took overtime for Illinois State to get past Mississippi while Stanford easily eliminated Cleveland State.
