Though the Cleveland Browns have been scratched off the list of teams interested in Bengals linebacker Manny Lawson, Phil Richards with the Indianapolis Star confirms the Colts' interest.
League source confirms #Colts ongoing interest in FA OLB #MannyLawson. GBay, Oakland, Cleveland also involved.
Though Lawson played well enough in Cincinnati's 4-3 base defense (and truly it was only 4-3 situations because Lawson was mostly taken out of the game during five-defensive back situations), there's questions if he could go back to a 3-4 defense, which is what the Colts are shifting towards this year with new head coach Chuck Pagano and a base defense that didn't really help Lawson thrive in San Francisco.
