Well, it looks like the Bengals will have to keep looking for their number two tight end. After Kellen Davis visited, he re-signed with the Bears. Now Joel Dreessen has decided that he will either be a Bronco or a Texan again next season. He will reportedly decide by Friday morning.
The Bengals may still decide to re-sign either Donald Lee or Bo Scaife and make them the number two tight end. They could also do what many are not expecting and draft a tight end early. It would not make too much sense to waste a high draft pick on a position where we already have a pro bowl player. However, what if a talent like Clemson's Dwayne Allen or Georgia's Orson Charles fall to the third round? This is a question that likely would not be asked if Dreessen would have signed with the Bengals.
