According to an NFL source, Manny Lawson is expected to return to the Cincinnati Bengals next season. No deal has been finalized, but this is expected to happen soon. This is great news for the Bengals, provided that the terms are not too outlandish. Lawson can return to playing SAM linebacker for the Bengals and give Dontay Moch more time to get used to the pro game. During today's NFL Spring meeting, Lewis was asked if there was still a chance that Lawson could return to the team. Lewis replied with a simple "Yes". It looks like coach Lewis knew what he was talking about. Lawson had also been getting reported interest from teams like the Packers, Colts, Raiders, and Browns.
UPDATE: Joe Reedy of The Cincinnati Enquirer says that a deal should be cemented in the next 24-48 hours, barring something completely unforeseen.
