I have been back and fourth on this one for about a month now. Should the Bengals go after free agent Michael Bush or try and draft Trent Richardson. I need some help here guys to help me decide, but let me first give you my pros and cons for each guy....
Bush- A proven bruising running back that will lay the hammer on any one who gets in his way. Not a bad attribute to have in the toughest division in the NFL (AFCN). Very soft hands out of the back field which would give another layer to this offensive. He is a PROVEN running back in the NFL which can not be discredited at all.
CONS- He is 27 years old. We just dealt with a older running back who's production fell off the earth as he aged. He doesn't have that explosive speed and appears not to have the game breaking play you want in your bell cow running back.
TR- Overall an absolute beast on the field. He can be a burner on the outside, he can run in between the tackles and make LB's wish they stuck to basketball in high school. Can change the game with one hand off. Has great hands out of the back field and fights i mean fights for every yard.
CONS- Is an unproven rookie running back. The IF factor is always large with rookie running backs. Most likely would have to trade up to get him. Not a big deal but recently had knee surgery.
So that is where my head is at. If i was Mike Brown, and thank god I'm not, what do i do????
