The Kentucky Enquirer reports that Ben-Gal's captain and ex-high school teacher Sarah Jones has pleaded not guilty to charges that she had sex with her 16 year old student while she was a teacher at Dixie Heights High School in Kentucky. Jones is charged with first degree sexual abuse and unlawful use of electronic devices to induce a minor to engage in sexual or otherwise prohibited acts. Each charge is a felony, and if convicted, Jones could face ten years in prison. Last week, Cincy Jungle's Nick Crago outlined the details of the case.

Also indicted in this case is Sarah Jones's mother, Cheryl Jones, who is charged with tampering evidence relating to her daughter's case. She also plead not guilty and is currently on administrative leave from her position as principle of Twenhofel Middle School.

Initially, Sarah Jones' bond was set at $50,000 and Cherly Jones' bond was set at $30,000, however, both women have now had their bonds reduced to $15,000.
